When Cardboard Films reached out about shooting a promo video, I was thrilled and could not wait to share my story. As a wedding and event planner, it is incredibly difficult to convey what I do through package details or a single job description. The expertise and value I offer my clients can be seen in my work, relationships with vendors, and the joy I bring clients on their wedding day (huge shout out to all my friendors as weddings are a group effort!). And Cardboard Films was able to capture all of this beautifully so I may share it with all of you!
The evening of our video shoot, I received a text from a very special past client turned friend that she was stuck at the hospital and would be unable to make it in time for her interview. As much as I would have loved her testimony, I reflected on her kind words the weekend prior when my daughter and I attended her son’s 1st birthday…”you were my person“. Meredith Grey/Christina Yang moments flashed through my mind and I felt so honored recalling the time we spent together while planning her wedding. And as I listened to the testimony of another special past client that evening I was able to reconfirm the value and joy I bring to each and every client. Amazing, right? I love my job!
A warm thank you to Urban Grub for allowing us to film interviews in their restaurant. I LOVE their dining scene and private event space so it was fitting to film in that location. Did I mention I tried my first oyster that evening?? Delish!
And last but not least, a huge thank you to Cardboard Films for showcasing a piece of Sweetwater Events. You guys are rockstars. And especially to my lovely past Brides, Laura and Heather, for sharing your kind words.
Lots of love,
